Society for Multicultural Scientists African American History Quiz Bowl

The goal of SMS is to recruit, retain, and graduate underrepresented minorities within the College of Sciences. We accomplish this goal by providing a community for these students through social, academic, and professional events. Each year, in celebration of Black History Month, SMS hosts an African American History Quiz Bowl and students have the opportunity to test their knowledge, learn new facts, and win prizes! This years quiz bowl is February 22nd, 2020 from 3pm – 4pm in Witherspoon Student Center room 356.
