Vinzant Becomes Sloan Fellow

Mathematics Assistant Professor Cynthia Vinzant has been awarded a prestigious Research Fellowship from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. She is only the 5th NCSU faculty member to do so. These highly selective early-career fellowships are given to “the most promising scientific researchers working today.” A previous recipient was Mathematics Assistant Professor Tye Lidman.
