The NC State Putnam team placed in the 82nd percentile out of 477 institutions in the 2024 William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition, the top undergraduate math contest in the U.S. and Canada.
Top scorers Blan Morrison, Mason McElroy, Coleman Hines, and Everett Tucker will receive prizes and certificates for their outstanding performance.
The department also congratulates the winners of the Monthly Problem Challenge, where students solve fun and challenging problems for a small prize:
