Urban Ecology Lab Undergraduate Researcher

The student in this position will assist with two current projects in the Urban Ecology Lab. One project asks how much food flowers commonly found in Raleigh provide for pollinators. The other project evaluates how urbanization and climate change affect the population size, survivorship across life stages, and flower use of a butterfly endemic to the coast of North Carolina. The major duties of this position include data entry and checking, and using a microscope to count pollen grains in samples previously collected from flowers. Apply by August 20, 2026!
