Benjamin Erickson Receives University-Wide Outstanding TA Award

Benjamin Erickson, a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics, received a university-wide Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award for calendar year 2025. This competitive award, given to approximately fourteen graduate students across NC State, recognizes excellence in teaching, student support, and collaboration with faculty. NC State Mathematics Celebrates Four NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Recipients

Four NC State mathematics-affiliated students were named NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) awardees this weekend, highlighting the department’s growing strength in undergraduate research, biomathematics, and uncertainty quantification. Two of the recipients are first-year Biomathematics Ph.D. students: Schuyler Brennan and Miriam Van de Water.
