Ilse Ipsen appointed Editor in Chief of the new SIAM Book Series

Professor Ilse Ipsen has been appointed Editor in Chief of the new SIAM Book Series on Data Science, an area whose mathematical foundations rely on computational and inferential thinking. The book series aims at curating advances in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, and applications, with a broad reach that includes experts as well as the scientific community at large. Dr. Ipsen is a SIAM Fellow and is the Associate Director of SAMSI.
