StartUp Your Innovative Ideas

The popular competition is back for another year at NC State

As alluded to in the previous iterations of the faculty newsletter, Deloitte will be on campus in a few weeks to host StartUp NC State: a competition that allows students from across all majors to collaborate and showcase their creative and innovative skills. Students will be able to develop and build solutions to current college campus-related challenges and propose their ideas to senior leadership from Deloitte as well as their own NC State faculty.

Specifically, teams for StartUp NC State will:

1. Develop hands-on innovation experience and learn about the start-up lifecycle
2. Receive one-on-one time with Deloitte practitioners over a 2 day period to develop an idea from scratch into a business case ready pitch
3. Pitch the idea to a panel of judges comprised of Wolfpack faculty and Deloitte Consulting Senior Leadership
4. Compete for awesome prizes!

This competition will take place on Friday, March 23rd and all undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday March, 14th.
