Meredith Bain Selected NC State’s 2018 Udall Scholar

Meredith Bain is NC State’s 15th recipient of the prestigious Udall Scholarship, an undergraduate scholarship awarded to Native Americans and Alaska Natives committed to issues related to health care and tribal public policy and to students committed to issues related to the environment. Meredith is a double major in mathematics and german, who came to NC State as a Goodnight Scholar. Last summer, she conducted research with Professor Dmitry Zenkov in the Department of Mathematics.
