Professor Suzanne Weekes (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) will deliver a plenary talk “Mathematical Modeling in Cancer Research”.

This conference will also feature a panel on Careers in mathematics and faculty development workshop focused on training faculty in mentoring undergraduate researchers led by Dr. Dewey Taylor (Virginia Commonwealth University) and Dr. Chad Awtrey (Elon University).

The registration is free and open to all participants – high school, undergraduate and graduate students, high school teachers, and faculty. A modest support for students to cover transportation and local expenses is available. Preference will be given to those who give talks at the conference.
