Papp receives CAREER award

Assistant Professor of Mathematics David Papp has received a prestigious CAREER award from the National Science Foundation, for his project “Large-Scale Optimization Problems with Applications in Emerging Radiotherapy Modalities.” The NSF program supports early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. Other recent CAREER recipients are Arvind Saibaba, Lorena Bociu, Seth Sullivant, and Agnes Szanto.
