Bates Wins NSF Grad Fellowship
Savannah Bates, a PhD student in the Biomathematics Graduate Program, was awarded a prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation. Savannah works with Cristina Lanzas (NCSU Veterinary Medicine) on multi-scale modeling of Clostridioides difficile (“C. diff”) infection within and between people in a hospital. Congratulations to Savannah on winning this highly competitive award.
