What you can expect We’ll look to you to support our Client Engagement teams, performing diverse range of actuarial tasks, including financial modelling, loss reserving, financial and regulatory reporting, litigation support, customer analytics, e-claims, product development and pricing analysis, rate setting and other consulting projects. The role is designed to support you in your exams, backing up your academic and analytical progress with real-world, business oriented challenges. It’s a growing area that is seeing new applications as the digital age progresses, so there’s no limit to where, or what industries you could be supporting as you develop.
What we look for   Majors: Actuarial Science, Math, or Statistics majors

 

Competitive Full Time candidates will have a competitive GPA, will have passed at least 2 exams, and will have had a previous industry related internship.

 

Competitive Internship candidates will have a competitive GPA, will have passed at least 1 exam and may have had a previous industry related internship

About the Application and Interview Process
Who should apply Students graduating in 2020 should apply for full time entry level roles.

Students graduating in 2021 should apply for winter 2020, summer 2020 or fall 2020 internships (if your curriculum allows fall internships).

Application Deadline Friday, September 13th
1st Round Interview If you are selected for a 1st round assessment, we will contact you to complete a virtual interview. This video will be a recorded interview. You will answer 5 behavioral based interview questions and your answers will be evaluated by a member of our leadership team.
Final Round Interviews If you are selected for final round interviews, you will be invited to a pre-interview dinner in New York City on Tuesday, October 15th with members of our leadership team! This will be a great opportunity to network with professionals that will be conducting interviews the following day.

 

Final round interviews will be conducted on Wednesday, October 16th.  Candidates will conduct 2 behavioral interviews as well as a case study.

EY will cover travel expenses. More info will be provided when you are confirmed to attend.
