Service Learning class for all majors in Spring 2020- COM 466

Attached is a flier about my COM 466 NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP and DEVELOPMENT class, open to all majors as a service-learning class.  We welcome students from strong second semester freshmen to graduate students in all colleges!

Please direct any questions to me.  Often students ask what their volunteer schedule will be.  they work out their schedule with their Community Partner based on class availability and agency needs. Also, we are an active and engaged learning community; I certainly do not lecture for three hours!

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:  There are a few short PRE-CLASS Assignments for organization purposes (sharing a resume or info sheet, posting on MOODLE, joining our class facebook group, completing an agency assessment and an interview).  Students will select from a pre-screened group of agencies based on their particular interests and skills desired!

Thanks much and best in Registration Advising!
