Blue Cross NC Actuarial Job Shadow Day

The Actuarial Department of Blue Cross NC will once again be hosting a Job Shadow Day on Friday November 15^th from 9:00am-3:30pm at our Durham campus. This will be an opportunity for interested students to gain an overview of the profession, learn about the day-to-day work of actuaries here at Blue Cross NC, and ask questions about exam preparation and professional development. We will also provide an overview of our internship program and our Actuarial Development Program for full-time positions.

Interested students who are willing to commit to this day and time must respond to Zachary.Hixon@bcbsnc.com by Friday October 25^th with the following information:

5. Tell us briefly about yourself and your interest in the actuarial field, including any actuarial exams you have passed and/or past actuarial internship or work experience.

Slots are limited – so if interest is high, a selection process will be used. Students will be notified of selection within a week after the deadline. More information about the logistics of the day will be provided at that time.
