Associate Professor Arvind Saibaba

As part of his CAREER award, Associate Professor Arvind Saibaba assisted by graduate student Rachel Minster and postdoc Eric Hallman, led a virtual workshop with high school math teachers, helping them develop teaching modules that will open their students to state-of-the-art mathematical concepts. They are designing hands-on and reproducible teaching modules that draw from research such as medical and geophysical imaging, and the teachers’ interests as math educators. The Science House will use the educational materials they create in professional development for teachers across the state.
