Kavanagh Appointed to Endowed Chair

NC State University alumna Kathleen Kavanagh has just been named the Robert A. Plane Professor of Mathematics at Clarkson University. She has won university and national teaching awards, and is the Associate Director of STEM Education at Clarkson. Kavanagh earned her PhD in Computational Applied Mathematics in 2003 with advisor Tim Kelley, Drexel Professor of Mathematics at NC State University.
