Info on upcoming (virtual) Putnam Competition
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the 81st Putnam Competition will be administered entirely remotely with no on-campus, proctored venues. Students can download the exam on Feb. 20, 2021, from wherever they are residing, solve the problems on clean white paper, and upload their solutions to the exam platform.
This year, sadly, there are no prizes, no official recognition, and no pressure! However, your solutions will be graded, so it’s just for fun and to gauge your mathematical prowess. Moreover, the first three winners at NCSU will receive a certificate and a cash award.
