Duke University – Summer Course Opportunity
First year students: If you are considering applying for finance internships for the summer of 2023 (after junior year), note that summer 2023 internship interviews will begin during the spring of 2022 (your sophomore year). To help you prepare, Duke University is offering Econ 256: Practical Financial Markets this Summer (June 28 – August 5, 2021).
In this full credit class, the instructors will provide hands-on training for finance interviews and internships. Enrolled students will also have the opportunity to participate in case study competitions with judges from Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo.
No prior coursework in either Economics or Finance is required: the course is open to ALL rising sophomores, regardless of intended major.
