Provide one hour a week of one-on-one SAT Math or SAT English tutoring as a supplement to the student taking an SAT Prep class. Possibility of tutoring more than one student per week.
The NC State Global Training Initiative will be hosting a group of recent high school graduates from Saudi Arabia for a one-year Foundation Year Program. The goal of this program is to help students prepare successful applications to apply to American Universities for their undergraduate degree. A part of this program includes an SAT prep course for the entire cohort. All students will take the SAT several times. Starting in mid-September, students scoring less than a 650 on the Math or English sections will be assigned a tutor for one or both of the subjects.
*Tutors will be hired to tutor either SAT Math or SAT English.
