MON 13 | Boren Awards Virtual Info Session The Boren Awards center around the values of Language, Culture, and Service.The Boren Awards provide up to $30,000 to study abroad while focusing on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study deemed critical to U.S. national security, broadly defined to include a wide range of global challenges, including sustainable development, environmental degradation, global disease and hunger, population growth and migration, and economic competitiveness. The UFO will be hosting the Boren Awards Virtual Info session on Monday, September 13 from 10am-12 pm. This session will have a Boren Awards representative present for questions and individual student appointments. TUE 14 | NSF GRFP Virtual Workshop The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program helps ensure the vitality and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce in the United States. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in fields within NSF’s mission. The UFO will be hosting a NSF GRFP Virtual Workshop on Tuesday, September 14 from 11 am- 12 pm. Attendees can join here UFO NSF GRFP Virtual Workshop.
