The Arts Entrepreneurship Program has seats available in it’s GEP-IP course offerings for Spring ’22.
EMA 365 – 001 Foundations in Arts Entrepreneurship – TTH 10:15-11:30AMEMA 365 – 002 Foundations in Arts Entrepreneurship – MW 11:45-1:00PM
EMA 370 – 001 Practical Arts Entrepreneurship – TH 11:46-1:00PMEMA 370 – 002 Practical Arts Entrepreneurship – MW 10:15-11:30AM
These are great courses for students interested using their major in the arts. Whether it be creating an arts business (for- or non-profit) or a business impacting the production of art through new inventions, software, services, etc., these are engaging and group-based courses most students across the country simply can’t get anywhere else but here at NC State.
We’ve had CHASS, College of Design and CoM students launch both for- and non-profit businesses  from the AE program: arts consulting and PR firms, video production businesses (one organization employing at-risk youth), escape rooms, arts production, publishing companies, a few hold patents and of course, lots of self-employed artists as well.
If your students are interested in these courses or the Arts Entrepreneurship Minor, I would be happy to speak with them – or you – about the Program’s offerings.
Thanks for your time….
Best
