NC State graduated the most PhDs in mathematics in the US from 2010-2019

NC State graduated the most PhD students in mathematics among all universities in the United States from 2010-2019. An article published in the Notices of the American Mathematical Society January 2022 issue reported that the number of PhDs in mathematics awarded annually has been increasing, with NC State leading the way in the last decade by awarding 401 mathematics PhDs.
