New MA2PHD Initiative at Columbia Statistics | Info Session – Feb. 4, 2022

Our next virtual M.A. in Statistics Information Session led by the Program Directors and staff is scheduled this Friday, February 4th at 3:00pm EST.

About M.A. in Statistics at Columbia
These are exciting times for the M.A. in Statistics program, with tremendous growth in educational and scholarship initiatives. In an effort to prepare students for their success, our program provides a myriad of free student resources and academic support, from the Math Bootcamp in the Summer to the MA Help Room during the academic year, career development workshops and many more.
The Information Session will be valuable for students who want to learn more about the M.A. Statistics program, admission requirements, curriculum, student support and community, as well as scholarship opportunities, particularly our new MA2PhD Merit scholarship. This prestigious merit-based scholarship is intended to support entering students with keen interest to pursue a Ph.D. degree after completing the M.A. in Statistics program. As part of the application process, admitted candidates will be recommended to submit their application.
