Summer/Fall OUR Awards – Funding for projects

The OUR will open submissions for Summer and Fall Awards today (5:00pm).

  • Summer awards will close on March 21, 2022.
  • Fall awards will close on July 8, 2022.

If you are interested in submitting, please make sure to review the associated templates and discuss projects with your mentor. You must have a mentor in order to submit a proposal.

  • You can find the awards submission area and information on the InfoReady home page. You’ll be able to see both the Summer and Fall links.
  • Review the associated templates – you can find proposal and budget templates in the respective submission areas. Please note that templates may have changed from past years; use the updated templates.
  • You can find more information, including templates and answers to common questions, on the OUR Funding page.
  • For Summer awards, please make sure to review information on the OUR website about credits, funding amounts, and other associated requirements/restrictions.

If you would like some assistance with your proposals — to make sure they are in their best form to support your funding odds — the OUR will be offering help and preparation sessions. Please email your proposal to Dr. Showalter (ceshowal@ncsu.edu) prior to attending to ensure that it can be reviewed for discussion and assistance. Please note the following days and times on your calendars (locations will be updated soon). Each session will begin with general information and then transition into targeted help; while you’re encouraged to attend the start of the session and targeted time, drop-ins are welcome.
