Accepting Applications NOW! NNSA-MSIIP

Did you know that this past summer the National Nuclear Security Administration Minority Serving Institutions Internship Program (NNSA-MSIIP) offered internship opportunities to every candidate that applied and was eligible for the program?

This resulted in 87 internships across the USA for students pursuing degrees in all STEM fields and other fields supporting the NNSA mission! This year NNSA-MSIIP is prepared to offer over 100 internships in 2023!

The application period for the NNSA-MSIIP is open until October 9, 2022, at 11:59 pm EST.  Help us spread the word about this opportunity and encourage your students to apply now!

There are still two more informational sessions left before the application deadline where we will be discussing the program benefits, timeline, and eligibility requirements. Additionally, we are available for office hours if to respond to questions and offer our assistance completing an application.

The NNSA-MSIIP offers a wide array of benefits including stipends starting at $750/week, allowances to offset the cost of housing, commuting, and virtual participation, and multiple internship locations across the nation including many virtual opportunities.  

This program is open to U.S. citizens that are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a Minority Serving Institution (MSI), and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students of all academic disciplines are eligible and encouraged to apply.
