Summer Conference on Applied Data Science (SCADS)
The Laboratory for Analytic Sciences at NC State is now accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Conference on Applied Data Science (SCADS).SCADS brings together researchers and practitioners to prototype and investigate novel ways to address a data science challenge problem of interest to the intelligence community. The grand challenge problem is to generate tailored daily reports for individual knowledge workers that capture information relevant to their individual objectives and interests.The conference is an 8-week in-person event, held from June 5 to July 28, 2023, on NC State’s campus in Raleigh, NC. Participants will work together to build on existing research and apply data science to analytic problems, while networking with partners across academia, industry, and government who bring diverse perspectives.
