Important study abroad dates and events coming up this semester.

Study Abroad Walk-In Hours – Tuesdays at the Global Hub in Talley from 12pm – 3pm and Wednesdays at the Study Abroad Office (3rd floor Holmes) from 1pm – 3pm
Summer 2024 Group Program Deadline is February 7
NC State Programs Fall 2024 & Academic Year 2024-2025 deadline is February 15
The Fall 2024 Scholarship Application deadline is February 15
NC State Passport Fair – February 29 at Global Engagement Hub, Talley Student Union | 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Appointments Required
Affiliate Program applications deadline is March 15
Summer Partner Programs application deadline is March 15

Study Abroad 101 & Walk-in Advising Hours

Spring 2024 Walk-in Advising will resume Tuesday, January 16!

Completed Study Abroad 101 and still have some questions? Attend our walk-in advising hoursevery Tuesday from 12-3 pm in the Global Engagement Hub (in Talley next to the Wolfpack One Card Office) or Wednesday from 1-3 pm in Holmes Hall to talk with an advisor. No appointment necessary.

Summer 2024 Group Program Regular Deadline
is 2/7!

Missed the early action deadline? Students may also apply for the Regular application deadline, which is February 7th. Summer Scholarship Notifications will go out on February 1st.

Interested in spending the fall 2024 semester or a whole academic year abroad with one of our many partner institutions? Fall 2024/Academic Year 2024-2025 applications are open now!

Applications for Fall 2024/AY 24-25 NC State Programs will be due February 15th. Affiliate Program applications will be due March 15th.

Interested in studying at NC State’s European Center in Prague? Applications for Prague’s 2024 programs are open now! Summer 2024 applications are due February 7 and Fall 2024 applications are due February 15.

Fall 2024 Scholarship Application is Open Now!

Want to apply for one of our many scholarships to help you fund your fall 2024 study abroad program? The Scholarship Application for fall 2024 is open now!

Complete one streamlined application to be considered for any and all scholarships that you are eligible for through the Study Abroad Office. The deadline for the application is February 15th.

Summer Scholarship notifications will go out February 1st.

NC STATE SCHOLARSHIPS

Gilman Scholarship Information Sessions

Interested in applying to the Gilman Scholarship in the future? The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program enables undergraduate students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad.

The Study Abroad Office will host Gilman Scholarship Information sessions leading up to the March 2024 application deadline (cycle includes Summer 2024, Fall 2024, AY 24-25, and Spring 2025 programs).

Tuesday, January 23 from 4pm – 5pm, Talley Student Union, Room 3222 (in-person)
Wednesday, January 31 from 12pm-1pm Online at this link (virtual)
Tuesday, February 6 from 12pm – 1pm Online at this link (virtual)
