NC State Mathematics Alumni Panel on Feb. 5th

SUM Club will be hosting an NC State Mathematics Alum Panel on February 5th, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm (Location TBA) to provide an opportunity for SUM Club Members and other undergraduate students interested in a career related to mathematics a chance to hear from three NC State Math Alumni. On our panel, we will have:

– Jamie Loring (B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Class of 2023), a Senior Associate Data Visualization Analyst at SAS; check out her LinkedIn here

– Dr. Elisabeth Brown (M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Class of 2012 and Class of 2017), an NCSU Assistant Teaching Professor in the mathematics department who commonly teaches the calculus sequence, applied differential equations II, and advanced mathematics for engineers and scientists I and II; check out her LinkedIn here

– Olga Shvetsova (B.S. in Applied Mathematics, Class of 2022), an Audit Data Analyst at USB; check out her LinkedIn here

For this event, we would like to provide the panelists with a set of questions to help aid them in knowing what you want to know or what kinds of advice you may want. Please use this Google Form to submit any formal questions you may have by January 31st, as we may not get to all of them during the informal Q&A session.
