Scholarship Opportunity

The College of Education is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity for individuals interested in teaching math or science in high-need school districts. It will be an information session on November 12 at 5:00 pm.

They are recruiting STEM undergraduate majors who will be juniors in Fall 2025. Undergraduate students can receive up to $34,000 ($11,500/junior year; $22,500/senior year) if they add a second degree in Math Education or Science Education and teach in a high-needs school district for four years after graduating. The application due date is February 15. 

The College of Education are also looking for recent graduates who have received or will receive an undergraduate degree in a STEM field who are interested in earning a teaching license in mathematics or science. They can enroll in the MAT program and receive up to $22,000 for one year. The application deadline is June 15.
