Applications are open for Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 admission to NC State’s Master’s program in Foundations of Data Science (MSFDS): https://go.ncsu.edu/fds
The Foundations of Data Science Graduate program equips its graduates with depth and breadth in core fields lying at the heart of data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Their balanced coursework, taught by faculty in NC State’s Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics is complemented by project-based learning and integrated professional development activities. The MSFDS degree may be pursued via a standard track or through one of three concentrations in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics. There is no GRE requirement and most full-time students can complete the program in three semesters. Domestic students, including foreign nationals with active visa status, can enroll on a full-time or part-time basis, and have available online options. International students must enroll on a full-time basis.
Current NC State undergraduate students interested in pursuing an Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s (ABM) with the MSFDS program should contact [email protected] for more information.
Prospective applicants can register for our upcoming virtual info session, taking place on Wednesday October 21st, from 6:00-7:30pm US EDT.
