Reminder – Spring 2022 Research Awards due 11/8

The Office of Undergraduate Research through the Division of Academic & Student Affairs will provide funding to support your undergraduate project. This funding, known as a Research Award, is open to all disciplines for undergraduate students pursuing undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities.

We will receive Spring 2022 Award proposals until November 8th at 11:59 pm.

Please carefully review the proposal instructions and funding information at the bottom of the funding page. Students should work closely with their mentors to develop the proposal and budget. Please reach out to Dr. Catherine Showalter (ceshowal@ncsu.edu) if you have questions.

To review the templates and questions, start a draft, and/or submit 

1. Go to our funding page (the link above; you can alternatively begin the process by going to https://ncsu.infoready4.com/).
2. Scroll down to “Click Here to Go to Proposal Submission Site” (big red button).
3. A new window will open. In the list of options, select “Undergraduate Research Award (Spring 2022)”.
4. You will see the information page. On the right side of the screen, you will see the “competition files”. You can download the proposal and budget as templates (at this time, please use the budget template on this screen, and not the OUR funding page template) as you develop your submission, and use the scoring rubric to also help guide you. When ready, you’ll also find the “submit application” button.
