Study Abroad Walk-In Advising Hours + Presentations

Happy Friday from our team here in the Study Abroad Office! As we get further into the semester, I wanted to make you aware of two ongoing outreach initiatives designed to help interested students explore study abroad opportunities:

• Walk-in advising: Students may stop-by our office in Holmes Hall 315 every Wednesday between 1-3 p.m. to meet individually with one of our advisors; no appointment needed. Walk-in advising hours are intended to assist students with initial exploratory questions about identifying programs for their majors, better understanding application processes and timelines, etc. If your office/team uses e-billboards to promote opportunities to students, please feel free to add our “Study abroad walk-in advising” slide to your screens (accessible in Community Slides). 
• Pack Abroad Ambassador Presentations: Pack Abroad Ambassadors, returned study abroad student volunteers, are eager to share their experiences as recent study abroad participants with classes, student organizations, and campus groups. If you’d like to request an Ambassador to connect with any of your classes, advisees, or other cohorts of students about studying abroad, please complete the presentation request form.
