[Columbia University] M.A. in Statistics Virtual Info Sessions

These are exciting times for the MA in Statistics program with tremendous growth in educational and scholarship initiatives. I would like to share with you and your students that we have three upcoming virtual MA in Statistics Information Sessions led by the Program Director and student support team.

• March 10, 2023 | 3:00 – 4:00 PM EST

The Information Session will be valuable for students who want to learn more about the MA Statistics program, admission requirements, curriculum, as well as scholarship opportunities, particularly our newMA2PhD Merit scholarship. This prestigious merit-based scholarship is intended to support entering students with keen interest to pursue a Ph.D. degree after completing the M.A. in Statistics program. Additionally, in an effort to prepare students for their success, our program provides a myriad of free student resources and academic support, from the Math Bootcamp in the Summer to the MA Help Room during the academic year, career development workshops and many more.

I’m hoping you could share this invitation with your colleagues and students who may be interested in learning more about the Masters of Arts in Statistics program at Columbia. I’m also happy to set up an individualized information session to better serve your students’ needs.
