This summer, two of our faculty members,Yairon Cid-Ruiz and Jacob Matherne  took part in Collaborate@ICERM, a highly selective program hosted by the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM) at Brown University. Designed to foster innovation and collaboration, Collaborate@ICERM brings together researchers from across the country to work intensively on emerging and impactful problems in mathematics and its applications.

Participation in this program reflects both the scholarly excellence and collaborative spirit of our faculty. During the week, the selected research teams engaged in deep, focused inquiry on cutting-edge topics, benefiting from ICERM’s world-class computational facilities and intellectually vibrant environment.

The involvement of our faculty not only advances their respective research agendas but also raises the visibility of our institution within the broader mathematical sciences community. Their work this summer contributes to the development of new ideas and tools with the potential to make significant impacts across disciplines.
