For Ellis Small, studying mathematics abroad was an opportunity to step beyond the classroom at NC State and explore mathematics in a new environment. A senior mathematics major, Logic minor, and participant in the Mathematics Honors Program, Small spent last spring studying with the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics (BSM) program in Hungary.
