SUMMER OUR and ACC GRANTS

The Office of Undergraduate Research through the Division of Academic & Student Affairs (DASA) will provide research grants ranging in amounts up to $2,500* to undergraduate students for research projects for the Summer 2018 semesters. The number of grants given is determined by amount of funding available at the time the selection process occurs. Proposals are reviewed by faculty/post-docs within the home college of the mentor.

Symposium for Undergraduates in the Mathematical Sciences

The Brown University Symposium for Undergraduates in the Mathematical Sciences (SUMS) has been held annually since 2002. The symposium's goal is to foster greater undergraduate interest and scholarship in mathematics by demonstrating the ubiquity of mathematics throughout the sciences. The conference also provides an environment in which motivated undergraduates can come together to share their own work and learn from distinguished faculty and researchers from around the country.

Research Opportunity at Emory University

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Emory University is looking for two undergraduates who are strongly motivated to develop new mathematical and computational methods for deep learning. The students will be hosted on Emory's main campus in Atlanta, GA, for 6-8 weeks during the summer (start and end dates are flexible).
