Suzanne Crifo will begin with a general discussion of class evaluations- why they may be important, how you can use them, how to interpret them, how to get higher response rates, etc., and then move into the specifics of mid-semester evaluations. In the second half of the workshop, participants will be given time and assistance with designing mid-semester check-ins for their own courses. All graduate student TAs, especially instructors and recitation leaders, are highly encouraged to attend!
