Come discuss your favorite course design principles and learn which ones are a part of the Data Science Academy ADAPT course model.  The All-campus Data Science Accessible Project Based Teaching and Learning (ADAPT) model operationalizes the idea that at NC State, data science is for everyone.  The 1-credit project-based courses have attracted undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff spanning all of the NC State colleges. Future study of the ADAPT model by a cohort of four 2-year postdocs will be supported by a $640K NSF grant, “Mentoring a Diverse Cohort of Postdoctoral Scholars in Data Science Education Research.”
