Undergraduates pursuing a major in another department can minor in math. The course requirements include 15 hours of upper-level courses (in addition to a required calculus track) completed at C– level or higher.
Steps for obtaining a minor in mathematics:
- Complete a required calculus track with C or better in each course.
- Declare your minor by completing the minor declaration form and submitting it to Registration and Records.
- Complete the 15 hours of upper-level math courses with C– or better.
- When you apply for graduation, you’ll also need to apply for your minor. The minor application is part of the graduation application in MyPack Portal.
