Information for students about available funding, including summer financial aid

Students that have been financially impacted by COVID are eligible to apply for a CURE2 Emergency Grant for qualifying expenses such as tuition, fees, food, housing, technology, child care expenses, medical expenses (including mental health) or for emergency costs due to the coronavirus.  Students should complete the CURE2 Emergency Grant application. The application is available in MyPack under the Financial Aid tile in the 2020-21 academic year.  More information including eligibility requirements can be found at https://studentservices.ncsu.edu/your-resources/covid-19/cure2-emergency-grants/   [Note:  Students can only be approved for one CURE2 grant. Advisors may want to inquire if the student has already received a CURE grant before sending them to the application.]
Students not eligible for support under the CURE2 Emergency Grant may apply for funding from the Pack Essentials Student Emergency Fund administered by DASA as long as funding remains available:  https://dasa.ncsu.edu/support-and-advocacy/pack-essentials/
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is also in the process of awarding summer financial aid.  Need-based institutional grants are available this summer for undergraduates who enroll in at least 6 credit hours and have financial need. Summer may be a good option for students who need to make up some lost ground over the last couple of semesters. The summer financial aid application is also available in MyPack under the Financial Aid tile in the 2020-21 academic year.  Students can consult https://studentservices.ncsu.edu/your-money/financial-aid/ for more information.
