Mathematics Sin Fronteras Fall 2021 virtual bilingual student outreach opportunity
Mathematics Sin Fronteras (MSF), Fall 2021, is a two-month (virtual) bilingual (English-Spanish) extracurricular math outreach lecture series, which will run from Sep 20–Nov 18, 2021, featuring just one lecture per week over a period of 9 weeks, with a one week break in between.It will feature two leading professors, each of whom will give a mini-course comprising four lectures spread over four weeks. All lectures will be held on Thursdays from 15:00–16:30 Eastern Time and will be conducted virtually via Zoom.
MSF is open to all interested students, although it is mainly geared towards first- and second-year undergraduate students in North, South and Central America, and is meant to complement the regular curriculum. Details of the program and how to apply can be found in the attached poster and pdf file. Participation is free, but interested students must apply due to space constraints.

*Mathematics Sin Fronteras (MSF)* es un programa bilingüe (inglés-castellano) (virtual) de una duración de tres meses, el cual
consiste de una serie de conferencias extracurriculares de matemática. Dicho programa se desarrollará del 20 de septiembre al 18 de noviembre de 2021, con sólo una conferencia por semana durante un período de nueve semanas. Contará con dos profesoras destacadas, cada una de las cuales impartirá una serie de cuatros conferencias repartidas en cuatros semanas. Todas las charlas se llevarán a cabo virtualmente a *través de Zoom los jueves de 15:00 a 16:30 ET (Eastern Time).
MSF está orientado a estudiantes universitarios de primer y segundo año de grado y está destinado a complementar el plan de estudios regular. Los detalles del programa y cómo postularse se encuentran en el sitio de web, el póster y archivos adjuntos.
La participación es gratuita, pero estudiantes interesadas deben postularse debido a que hay un número limitado de vacantes.
