New GROW 2023 application deadline: Sep 8

We have extended the deadline for applications to GROW (Graduate Research Opportunities Workshop) 2023, to be held at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina from Friday October 20 – Sunday October 22.  

GROW is a conference aimed at providing education and support to encourage the enrollment of and cultivate a future for women (cisgender, transgender, or woman-identified) and nonbinary individuals in graduate programs in the mathematical sciences, an underrepresented population. We have an outstanding line-up of speakers and panels planned, demonstrating the tremendous diversity of lives and careers that can be built upon a Ph.D. in the mathematical sciences, along with informal opportunities for conversation and mentorship. The conference is FREE for accepted participants. We will provide accommodations, arrange for meals, and cover airfare if distance from the conference necessitates air travel. 

Please re-share the application to GROW 2023 widely. Applications are due September 8. We welcome applications from anyone considering graduate school in the mathematical sciences in the U.S. who supports the mission of GROW. Women and nonbinary undergraduate students are encouraged to apply. Accepted applicants will be notified by approximately September 11.
