We are excited to share with you all a new Summer Study Abroad opportunity for students to earn credit in ENG 331, CE 214, and/or MA 341! Please share this opportunity with your students and let the Study Abroad Office know if you have any questions.
Come earn six credits with NC State in Quito, Ecuador. This program is designed for Engineering and Science STEM majors to earn course credit while gaining practical experience in a global setting. Students will spend days tying classroom topics to real-world experiences like industry visits and remote research center visits. History and culture come alive through site visits including the historic Quito city center. Make Ecuador your classroom for this summer!
Course OptionsBSC 495: Special Topics – The Physiology of High-Altitude Adaptation for STEM Studies in Quito, Ecuador (3 credit hours)
CE 214: Engineering Mechanics – Statics (3 credit hours, pre-approved transfer credit)
ENG 331: Communication for Engineering and Technology (3 credit hours)
MA 341: Applied Differential Equations (3 credit hours)
