NC Teaching Fellows

We are proud to announce that the NC State College of Education has been selected as a Teaching Fellows Program site. As a NC State University Teaching Fellow, current students can receive a scholarship of $8,250 per year for up to 2 years if they transition to a STEM Education major or add a STEM Education major.

Ernie Burniston (1937-2017)

Dr. Ernie Burniston passed away on November 5, 2017.  A gathering of remembrance is planned at 4:00pm on Friday, November 10 at the N.C. State University Club, 4200 Hillsborough St., Raleigh, NC 27606. Ernie earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of London in 1960 and a Ph.D. from the same university in 1962.
