Bryant Cox, Neil Dey, and Grant Barkley Win Top 3

The William Lowell Putnam Competition is a  preeminent mathematics competition for undergraduate college students in the United States and Canada. Fifteen NCSU students participated in the 2017 event. Among the NCSU contestants, the top three places go to math majors Bryant Cox, Neil Dey, and Grant Barkley.

Professor Zhilin Li has two papers listed as  No. 1. &  No. 10 on the most cited articles in Numerical Analysis (65N06, finite difference method) in MathSciNet/Mathematical Reviews. The No. 1's citations are nearly twice as many of No. 2's. Congratulations to Professor Li.

DHS SRT MSI: Cyber Student Volunteer Initiative

The Secretary’s Honors Program (SHP) Cyber Student Volunteer Initiative (CSVI) program is a nationwide program offering volunteer opportunities to current undergraduate and graduate students from 2 and 4 year academic institutions.
